Yep, for the first time ever, we’ve gone with a double act. But, hey, what a double act!
There’s a sweet yin and yang about Katie Doyle and Niamh Tait, the two happy ladies who, for the last three and a half years, have been making Summervilles a sunnier place to chow down or coffee up.
In a town where we’re not exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to coffee shops, Summervilles of Greystones have a distinct flavour all of their own, like an old country kitchen that’s decidedly young at heart. Oh, and the food ain’t half bad either.
Working so closely together, it’s understandable that most people see Katie and Niamh as something of a double-headed maitre d, but, away from Summervilles, this dynamic duo have managed something of a reverse double-life. Niamh is Irish, and married to an English guy, whilst Katie is English, and married to an Irish guy. It’s almost as if they’d planned it that way.
As anyone who has been in Summervilles in recent times will tell you though, Niamh and Katie are pretty good when it comes to cunning plans. They’ve created one of the snuggest, cuddliest and yummiest cafes in Greystones. So, you know, go check out their website, by clicking on the photo on the right. Oh, and vote for them. Now.
