The latest fundraising appeal from the Greystones Cancer Support is a simple one – just give ’em your old 1c and 2c coins. You skinflints!
With both coins due to go out of circulation, those clever people at Greystones Cancer Support have realised that these doomed miniscule moolah may as well go to a good cause.
So, besides the Centsibile buckets you’ll see at various locations around the town, you can also take the coins down to the Greystones Cancer Support Group’s HQ on La Touche Place (just above Paraphernalia, across the road from that swingers hangout, La Touche Wine.
