Every now and then though, a little helping hand can go a long, long way, and right in the heart of town, on Theatre Lane, many a Beautiful Creature has been transformed into an Incredibly Feckin’ Beautiful Creature by the award-winning Up To My Eyes.

Who, wouldn’t you know, have just picked up another award.

The Irish Hair & Beauty Awards 2016 took place last night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in sunny Dublin, and Elaine McParland and the gang from Up To My Eyes were there more for the craic than the crystal.

So, despite their glowing reputation, they were taken aback when the winner of Outstanding Salon Of The Year award was called out. And it was the little Greystones beauty shop that could.

We swung by this afternoon, to make sure Elaine and the girls weren’t making all this stuff up  – which can happen after a few drinks…
