On Saturday, June 7th, we are once again baring all and freezing our bits off to raise money for childhood cancer – and we’d love for you to join us.

With €1,300,000 raised to date, this year is our 12th dip – and we are hoping to get our total up to €1,600,000 .

Strip and Dip was started 12 years ago by Deirdre Featherstone, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. Deirdre wanted to raise money for childhood cancer and from 50 brave women getting naked on the beach in 2013 to the thousands who continue to bare more than their souls today, the event has gone from strength to strength.

We are so proud to be raising money for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, and our funding has helped greatly to buy a house near Crumlin Hospital for the families going through childhood cancer. In 2018, we received a Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Skinny Dip, and in 2020, as Covid kicked in, we received another world record, this time for our Virtual Dip.

Nearly 1,000 women from all around Ireland are expected to bare all and brave the cold Wicklow waters in aid of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, Ireland’s Children’s Cancer Charity on Saturday 7th June at Magheramore Beach – and we’d love you to be one of them.vA huge thank you to all our First Responders, stewards, photographers, The Arklow Bay Hotel, M&F Leonard Coaches and to Wayne, the only man allowed on the beach! And, of course, to all the Strippers & Dippers! 

All funds raised will go to Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, Ireland’s national cancer charity for children.
