Park life…

Tuesday, October 22nd 2024…
“It is now over two years since the community in Ashford were locked out of their playground and park. This was a wonderful amenity and a beautiful spot to visit that was enjoyed by people of all ages here.
“The abrupt circumstances in which the community were suddenly denied access to the park and playground were very upsetting for people here and it is unacceptable that two years on they are still locked out of this key community facility,”
commented Ms Whitmore.
“The community in Ashford put a lot of work, love and care into the playground here and steps need to be taken to ensure that they once again have access to it whilst also safeguarding its future as a treasured community amenity,” concluded Deputy Whitmore.
