It is with regret that Wicklow Town Citizens Information Centre will close its doors on 1stMarch, 2022. 
The health and safety of our staff and our clients are paramount and unfortunately the premises on the Lower Mall is no longer suitable for service delivery. South Leinster Citizens Information Service is striving to secure funding for a new centre in the Wicklow Town but we have received no confirmation as yet.
Information Officer for Wicklow Town, Breda Stanley Pickford, said, “We wish to thank all the services in Wicklow Town and the surrounding areas for all their assistance over the last number of years, the volunteers who gave their time, expertise and commitment to all our clients. I remain optimistic that we will receive the funding to relocate in light of the established need for a citizens Information service in the town”.
Development Manager for Wicklow, Martina Cronin, added “our priority is for the people of Wicklow Town to continue being able to access up to date, accurate and independent information, advice, assistance and advocacy on their rights and entitlements. This can be done by availing of our appointment, phone or email service in Bray or Arklow Citizens Information Centres until we are notified if we have received funding to reopen in a more suitable premises in Wicklow Town”.
