ith thousands of bookshops around Ireland taking part, World Book Day is naturally taking over Greystones’ dynamic duo.

Both The Village Bookshop and Halfway Up The Stairs have treats lined up for the big day.

Over at Halfway, Trish will be entering everyone using their free book tokens (worth €1.50) into a draw for a whole big box of books.

With Fenella and the gang at Village, it’s free lollies with every World Book Day purchase. Scientists having proven that books are even funnier, deeper, darker, happier and all-round better reads if accompanied by a sweet.
