You Spin Me Right Round

Ah, there’s nothing we like more here at GG HQ than a well-designed poster…

All the info is there, clear as day, and bright as a button.

That this particular event happens to be the brainchild of one of GG’s favourite people means that, hey, this fine, free-wheelin’ and firm-buttocked charity fundraiser definitely gets our much-coveted seal of approval.

For those of you down the back, a Spinathon is basically an urgent cycle, to nowhere, except, you know, a finishing line whereby the world is a little bit better by the time the pedals stop turning.

In this particular case, it’s Down Syndrome Ireland that will benefit from the Saturday SuperValu Spinathon shindig. The fun will be kicking off at 8am (to beat the traffic) on October 21st. Exactly when it will end depends on who hits the ground first – the rain or the riders.

Update: Due to an unfortunate meeting between a cycling nut and some storm leaves on a wet country road, this Spinathon has been postponed to a later day. If you’re feeling generous though, you can still leave some money for Down Syndrome Ireland with SuperValu.
