You’ve Been Kilcoole Schooled

Throw your hats up in the air, like you…

t was a day of celebration and cheers, but perhaps a few of the CCA kids graduating this week understood that there’ll come a time when they really miss their school days.

Sure, you only have to look at the plethora of social media treads yearning for those bygone and carefree days.

For Coláiste Chraobh Abhann’s Class of 2022, Thursday was all about the future though, and waving goodbye to the past with a happy heart and a throw of that silly square hat.

Gathering in the Kilcoole school’s gym for a special ceremony, the teachers and parents present were there to acknowledge the hard work, commitment and dedication of these students in their journey from there to here.

And where they go from here is a lot rosier given their time at CCA.

Special mention has to go to Rogha na Blaina winners Lucy Toomey and Conor Tierney, plus Gradam Seisialta Award winners Molly Cahill and Sean Lundy.

But, hey, everyone’s a winner here. With one or two obvious exceptions, of course.
