t this time of year, we’re always on the outlook for shining examples of that cuddly Christmas spirit.
And last year, one of our favourite festive feelgoods was the story of young sisters Anna and Eva.
Determined that everyone should have a truly happy Christmas, the soft-hearted and sharp-minding siblings set about making one-of-a-kind, handcrafted Christmas baubles. Being a fundraiser for the homeless, each one featured a handdrawn image of a happy home inside, with eight loose bricks floating around inside the globe.
And they proved to be pretty darn popular. We’re talking €8,000 popular.
This year, with the Covid restrictions, Anna and Eva knew they had to come up with something a little bit different, having sold most of their Christmas baubles by setting up shop in office and bank lobbies and even on the street.
And so, for W.H. Five Loaves, the dynamic Doutrelepont duo have written a festive poem, A Home For All Seasons, which has now been illustrated and turned into an e-book.
Perfect as a bedtime read to get your family into that Christmas spirit, you can download the book for free right abouthere.
