Understated, as always…
econd only to The Man In Red landing his spacecraft in de town, Ladies
Night is always a very, very big night out for Greystones.
As the female of the species paint the town pink, the bubbly, the bargains and the banter flows.
And sure, just to add more sparkle to the 2024 outing, there was also live music, disco dancing, spine-bending acrobats and, of course, goodie bags, all adding to that general air of mayhem and mischief.
Included in the street entertainment was Broken Theatre’s circus adaptation of The Snow Queen, currently running every weekend up in Killruddery, whilst flash mobs from Dance Greystones had everyone strutting whatever funky stuff they could muster on a drizzly winter’s night.
Kat Martin was celebrating Lash Envy’s 10th birthday up on Hillside Road, Daata went against the wheat grain with free gin and tonics rather than the traditional Prosecco, Sherry Fitzgerald had Clara Cullen’s Oak & Olive around for a few drinks and salacious gossip, Brooke & Shoals were giving away €200, Katie at Cove Massage went a little nuts with a whopping 35% off vouchers…
Sure, even Halfway Up The Stairs got Ladies Night Fever, proving this was one town under a very good groove.
All in all, a wonderful way to start Christmas. And to cancel out your Friday morning.
Thanks, as always, to John McGowan for capturing it all with over 200 shots of the big night.
