Families in Greystones looking for an energetic and outdoor-focused summer activity for their children can sign up for the Always Active Summer Camp 2026.

Hosted by the Always Active Club at Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath, the camp is designed for children aged six to twelve. Running daily from 9am to 3pm, this is a full week of active fun with team sports, obstacle courses, outdoor challenges, water games and other engaging summer activities.

Since opening its doors as a term-time afterschool programme in 2022, Always Active has become a beloved part of the local community, offering children a safe, inclusive, and action-packed environment where sports, teamwork, and outdoor play take centre stage.

The camp will run across four sessions: June 29th–July 3rd, July 6th–10th, July 13th–17th and July 20th–24th, from 9am to 3pm daily, giving families flexible options during the school holidays.

Weekly places cost €154.20, with a reduced rate of €90 per child for those with a valid NCS/Universal Childcare (CHICK) number.

Whether your child is a budding athlete or just loves to run, jump, and play, the camp welcomes all levels of ability and interest.

From football and tag rugby to obstacle courses and relay races, there’s something for everyone — all delivered in a fun, supportive atmosphere that encourages confidence and connection.

Parents are asked to provide a packed lunch, water bottle and suitable outdoor clothing.

And it’s worth mentioning the kid favourite, Water Fight Day, which happens on Wednesdays. Perhaps it’s because the town is full of water babies, having grown up by the sea, but this is one hugely popular addition to our summer camps.
