ll throughout the year, the beauty on offer in Wicklow can pretty much always astound.

Even on a snowy and cold February morning, as demonstrated so well by the mighty Phil McDarby above.

And as much as we get our superlatives in a twist over the Drummin Trees, the Sugar Loaf, Glen Of The Downs, The Cliff Walk, Belmont Demesne and Kindlestown Woods, it’s when you fly further south that Wicklow’s beauty becomes truly widescreen.

It’s a fact that we’ve celebrated here many a time – and covered somewhat in our Take A Hike series. But, it’s always good to be reminded of just how stunning Glendalough, Powerscourt, The Sally Gap and the rest of that heady, heathered Wicklow wilderness can be.

And one such moment is the video below, just sent in by the bould Jamie Hackett.
