We thought T.J. Porter was our big Splash Of Colour winner for 2021 but, turns out there was second people’s champion this year – Olivia McGeehan.
It was actually 9-year-old Olivia’s eagle-eyed and enormously proud auntie Sarah who spotted that all the numbers weren’t quite adding up in our annual kids art competition, and instead of one glorious 2021 winner, yowsa, we had two.

Which meant we were down at Greystones’ sugar rush central, Sweet Boutique, once again today, to present another incredibly talented young Greystones artist with their prize-winning, treat-packed hamper.
With her two brothers – 11-year-old Harry and 6-year-old Luke – licking their lips in the background, Olivia explained how her beautiful Happy Summer painting came into being.
