And, of course, from health and safety. And common sense.

Whatever the logic behind the apparently highly-dangerous move, Bod Hayden would appear to be proud as punch of the video he posted on social media this weekend, showing a man hanging from one of the cranes down at the harbour.

Whether the man in the video is Bod himself, one of his friends, or none of the above, who knows, but his social media profile does reference ladders and climbing quite a bit. So, we think he could indeed be the eejit letting it all hang out down at Marina Village. With, appropriately enough, pooh emojis all over his face.

The reaction has been mixed, with more thumbs up and wow emojis on the Facebook post than angry little faces. Bar one or two witty asides though, the reaction in the comments below reveal plenty of angry little faces, ranging as they do from ‘Plonker‘, ‘Absolute idiot‘, ‘Stupid eejit‘, ‘Dick‘ and ‘Fucking idiot‘ to ‘Imbecile‘, ‘Irresponsible tosspot‘ and ‘Gobshite‘.

Thankfully, the high-flyer is safely back on terra firma, or we would have heard otherwise. Whether he’s back to his job on Monday, well, that’s another story…
