The Gilbert welcome an honorary brother

ith his retirement due to happen in June 2019, friends and fans of Willie Gilbert gathered at Greystones Golf Club yesterday to show their appreciation.

And just about everyone there had a fine old time.

The appreciation was for 30 years of making Greystones Golf Club look pretty darn great.

And how better to pay tribute to Willie than having a round of golf? Or twenty.

There were, in fact, over 430 teams taking part in the big day, and lucky for them all, the sun shone down as the hottest day of the year so far decided to join in the celebrations.

Naturally, Willie was on the winning team. It was that kind of day.
