Our upcoming Monthly Pop up Exhibitions are recommencing again this month for the summer, from 12pm to 5 pm Saturdays and Sundays until October.

Our first solo artist is Ruth McGurk, on Saturday, April 29th and Sunday 30th, and the artist will be there available to chat each day.

Ruth McGurk is a painter who divides her time between Dalkey and Ballyconneely in Connemara. She paints mostly in oils and acrylics and likes to create a realistic interpretation of the subject matter, focusing on the revealing elements of light, texture, and colour.

Known for her detailed still life works, she is now currently working on a series of seascapes inspired by the incredible power of the waves along the Connemara coast and nearby Dunlaughin beach, as well as Killiney beach in Dublin.

Ruth has been pursuing her passion for painting for the last 20 years and has exhibited in galleries and arts festivals in Dublin, Wicklow and Kinsale, and has also been invited to exhibit in the upcoming Boyle Arts Festival.
