Queen of the Castle…

hankfully, the sun stuck around long enough for this year’s Burnaby Lawns Family Fun Day…

Or is it the Burnaby Court Family Fun Day? Or the Greystones Family Resource Centre Family Fun Day…?

Hard to tell, but, hey, it ain’t the name that counts, but the game. And today, the residents took on the local gardaí once again, with gusto, and  guile, and all those good things that make for an exciting bit of footie.

In the end, it was the boys in blue who had the edge, their fancy footwork and team telepathy just a little too much for the brave but, well, not-quite-as-good local footie legends. Still, 3-2 is pretty darn close. The match itself was in honour of Garda David Bolger, who sadly passed away in December, and would normally be out there on the pitch, working his magic.
