Chakra Win Best World Cuisine Award

mmm, we think they might just know what they’re doing down at that Chakra place…

And The Restaurants Association of Ireland certainly seems to think so, with the Greystones restaurant winning the All-Ireland title in the organisation’s Best World Cuisine section.

With local lovelies The Pigeon House picking up Best Leinster Restaurant, and Chakra also picking up a gong for Best Customer Service for Leinster, well, it would seem both these fine food emporiums can have their celebratory cake and eat it tonight.

Over 70,000 online nominations were received for this year’s competition, whilst the winners list covers pretty much the entire country. Except Newtownmountkennedy. Bizarrely enough.

Congrats to Chakra and to the Pigeon lads. You did us proud…
