The plan each year being to chart a stroll from the harbour up Trafalgar Road and La Touche Place and on down to the train station.
Just to offer a snapshot of Greystones at this festive time, a chance especially for those living abroad to get out there and breathe the Greystones Christmas air.
The tradition started in December 2016, actually on both Ladies Night and New Year’s Eve, and then again on December 1st 2017 and November 30th 2018, those Ladies Night showing off Christmas in Greystones with the jingle-jangle turned all the way up to 11.
Last year, it was back to Christmas Eve, and we’ve done the same again tonight. Everything has changed, and nothing has changed, but there’s no denying it’s a quieter festive feeling this year. All that going out money has been spent on house lights.
Still, just as an all-singing, all-dancing, all-hugging Christmas has its own particular kick though, staying in with the couch you love, and spoiling yourself ridiculously, has a charm all of its ownsome…
