Take his Blade Runner-esque shot above, snapped one rainy night on Church Road, or the one below, catching Greystonians catching the supermoon down on the seafront.

Be the feckin’ holy, even Brian Keeley would have let out a yelp. These nature shots are almost unnaturally beautiful…
“I definitely get asked that question regularly,” smiles Vlad when we met in Rise At The Cove this afternoon. “I definitely will use the light that’s there, and sometimes, that means a very slow exposure, and the most I’m going to do afterwards is just bring the luminosity that’s there up a little, if need be, with Lightroom.
“My main goal is to capture what’s there, and basically do a beautiful scene justice.”

Pretty soon, Vlad was chasing the sun, the moon and the stars, both literally and metaphorically.
“I made the move from scenic shots to portraits, and now 
bands, big corporate events, everything,” he says. “When I was asked how much I would charge to cover Strictly For Tiglin, I was happy to do that for free. I love doing what I do, and if I can use my skills to help others, that’s a great feeling…”

with Natalia Lucas-Ionel (aka Mameinie) highlighting the importance of grandparents in a grandchild’s life. With their September exhibition having proven a hit in Dublin, the duo are planning a second before the end of the year.
