Daata Wins Best Vegetarian Takeaway

Having already been bestowed with the Greatest Honour Known To Man & Hungry Beast – namely Greystones’ Yummiest Takeaway 2020 – Daata this week were nominated for another.

This time, it was the Just Eat National Takeaway Awards, with Waseem & co being one of five chosen for Leinster.

Sitting alongside them was Box Burger, one of the Duggan’s rather fine triumvirate of takeaways on Bray’s seafront. The other two being, of course, Platform Pizza and Wing It.

The other Leinster nominees were Apache Pizza in Mullingar, Gino’s Diner in Dundalk and Ken’s Oriental Restaurant in Athlone. Camile’s Phibsorough outlet was up for Best Takeaway Thai and Best Takeaway Sustainability (winning the latter), whilst their Sligo branch Best Takeaway Vegan.

Box Burger was also up for Best Takeaway Burger and Best Takeaway Cocktails whilst Daata is also up for Best Takeaway Vegetarian. All of the above are up for Best Takeaway Ireland too.

In the end, Daata won Best Vegetarian and Box Burger won Best Leinster and, of course, Best Burger.  Full list of winners here.
