This family-run garage has been in business for a staggering 50 years.

But from December 22nd, this Eden Road landmark will be no more.

Today we are announcing that, after 50 years in business, we are closing our doors on the 22nd of December. 

The family have made the hard decision after the business has long outgrown its facilities.

It’s been a privilege to be a part of such a wonderful community as Greystones. We would like to thank our amazing staff, customers, friends and family for all their support over the years.

Started in 1971 by brothers Murt and PJ Davis, their sons took the reigns in recent years, with Clive stepping away from the business just last year, leaving Barry to fly solo.

That these cousins harboured other plans beyond Davis Motors no doubt played a part in the closure of this much-loved Greystones institution. Nonetheless, it’s undoubtedly a sad day for both of them.

We wish the Davis clan all the best for the future, and our eternal gratitude for keeping our motors runnin’ for the past 50 years…
