Delgany Gets Santa Ready

fter today’s news of the Carmelite community centre being signed, sealed and delivered, Delgany is getting itself ready for a very Merry Christmas indeed.

And lighting the village’s way through the festive season will be a whole line of glittering trees, courtesy of local do-gooders, The Delgany Tidy Towns gang.

Further on up the road, the traditional Santa’s Postbox is sitting pretty outside the Delgany Mini-Mart.

In Greystones, you’ll find one at Meridian Point, another at the Lidl shopping centre in Blacklion, and a few others parked at places the Greystones Town Team forgot to tell us about.

But, hey, you can’t miss ’em. They’re red, wooden and boxy. Just like a Santa Postbox.
