GG’s Everyday People: Liam & Matthias

Given that our regular My Greystones column tends to be something of a This Is Your Life affair, we here at GG HQ have long been toying with the idea of simply grabbing a spontaneous snapshot of Greystonians in their natural habitat.

Just a brief encounter, a quick bout of banter, letting that little slice of everyday suggest the rest about someone’s life.

Take Liam and Matthias, for example, two good buddies who spend quite a bit of their average day hanging out just beyond the electric fence, security cameras and razor wires of GG HQ.

We don’t need to know their family history, their VAT returns or the major turning points in their lives thus far. We just want to know what they’re up right here, right now.

And where the hell did they get that cool Segway?

So, it’s just a slice of their busy lives, a glimpse into who they are, where they’re from, and where they’re going. Which, I reckon, is just down the road. For sweets.
