The Happy Pear are on a mission to get the local people of Greystones and surrounding areas eating more locally and seasonally.

To this end, they have started a 4 acre Regenerative Farm in Kilcoole focused on growing organic veg while building the soil health and encouraging as much biodiversity as possible to thrive as possible.

The Happy Pear Farm is now offering delicious, local & seasonal Veg Boxes, which are organically grown and harvested within hours of being packed. Veg box subscribers have the option to have it delivered directly to their door or collected from the farm.

Across the entire year, the local farm team are growing 45 different types of veg. To name a few, there are several types of kale, snack cucumbers, carrots, various squashes and all kinds of coloured beetroot as well as herbs such as coriander, basil and parsley. Right now, they have three different sizes of tomatoes from cherry to main crop and beef across several varieties and colours just coming into season.

Weekly veg boxes are available in 3 different sizes
⦿ Small (which works best for approx 1-2 people)
⦿ Medium (3-4 people)
⦿ Large (5-6 people)

Anyone subscribing for their weekly veg box can easily add on other Happy Pear products at the same time as a once-off or as a regular item, including pesto, hummus, granola, oat drinks or sprouts, and people can easily pause their subscription when they are on holidays or out of town.
