here are, of course, at least one million and one ways to lose weight…
From signing up to The Church Of The Happy Pear to the less painful 1920s practise of ingesting tape worms, most come with a massive side order of nonsense.
That weight loss simply boils down to eating less and moving about more seems to have escaped a ridiculous amount of people.

Aisling & Paul Connolly
In truth, the trick when it comes to lightening your load is not so much about shedding the pounds as maintaining that healthy, sveltey new you.
Luckily, help is at hand courtesy of happy loving couple Paul and Aisling Connolly, this dynamic duo having stepped out on their own after years of practise in a noted Dublin weight loss clinic run by the former’s old man, Dr. Declan Connolly.
The couple recognised the need for helping people maintain their new, ideal weight, especially given that old eating habits can be extremely hard to break. Especially when your local pizza joint keeps offering 2-for-1 specials.

Dr Maurice Larocque
Determined to explore the psychology of the overweight, the Connollys headed to North America to attend several obesity conferences, and were particularly impressed by a lecture entitled Mental Weight, presented by world-renowned French-Canadian expert Dr. Maurice Larocque.
“Dr. Larocque’s methods treated the person not the condition,” explains Paul. “So, it was a question of ‘why’ the person ate, not just what they ate.”
The good doctor Maurice discovered that 70% of overeating was emotional, and that if emotional issues were not treated, the condition would not be treated.
