And they’re plainly still full of a certain lust for life if their attitude above to the Grim Reaper is anything to go by.
Such as, every Monday, art from 2.30pm to 4.30pm; short mat bowls on Tuesdays from 10.45am to 12.30pm and bingo onThursdays from 2.30pm to 4pm, all at Killian House Family Centre.
There’s also the monthly get together coffee mornings, on the last Fridays, 10.30am, again at Killian House.
Upcoming events include simple cake icing and decoration with Sadie O’Shea on October 26th, grow your own herbs with Frank Coleman on November 2nd, art appreciation with Rosemarie Devereux on November 9th and a craft workshop with Delia Barry on November 16th. We’ve put out the APB on finding out the actual times.
Worth noting that there’s a short story competition currently running too, with a 200-word limit and a deadline date of Tuesday, November 23rd. You can email your short story to the email address below.
