he very first press release from the newly-formed 
Greystones Business Network, issued on Tuesday, May 18th 2021…Arising from the committee of Greystones 2020 a small number of business owners in Greystones have come together to establish a business network.
Our startup committee comprises Mark Atkins, Gordon O Neill, Tom Fortune, Peter O’Faherty, and John Kelly.
As Greystones is now a substantial hub for many businesses, it is clear that there needs to be collective thinking and a clear voice for the business community in our town’s plans and development.
The committee is seeking to invite businesses in Greystones to register interest in the network via our website greystonesnetwork.ie. From here we will structure round table talks to develop the network as a member-driven organisation representing business owners of Greystones and its surrounding areas.
Some initial goals for the business network are:

Drive economic growth for the region of Greystones through representation on local committees.

Lobby the local municipal and county councils.

Engage with large corporate groups looking to locate in Greystones.
