aving struggled with his own mental health growing up, Greystones’ Niall Breslin helped form the multi-award-winning mental health charity A Lust For Life.
Their stated goal through content, campaigns and events is ‘to facilitate young people to be effective guardians of their own mind’.
And a big part of that is Gone Past Talking, an educational and mentoring programme empowering young people to be constructive and courageous ‘change catalysts’, challenging and crafting the world they want to inherit.
And it’s coming to Greystones from July 25th to 29th and on September 10th & 11th.
Here’s the lowdown…
This is a resilience and well-being programme with an activism focus. In essence, it helps you to better the world around you as you learn to take care of your own mind and well-being.
Participants in the Gone Past Talking programme have reported: • increased knowledge, skills and confidence • increased motivation and overall well-being • increased sense of connection with peers, facilitators and mentors • increased confidence and creativity
Our vision for Gone Past Talking is that young people who participate will drive a shift in society towards a better future, by creating change in their communities so that people and planet come first.
Are you ready to tap into your head, heart and guts to challenge and craft the type of world you’d like to live in?
Join us in Greystones this summer to create a lasting impact on the world, and on yourself!
