iven that he comes from the same family stock as the near-legendary Eoin Woods, it’s not all that surprising that young Niall turned to music at an early age.

Playing in various bands, and as part of various duos, Niall Woods has now released a solo single.

And just to make sure you know it’s that little different than before, the Greystones singer/songwriter is going under the moniker of Nylophone.

See what he did there…?

Like Greystones’ fellow future rock god Dylan E. Crampton, Niall embraces that ’60s summer of love for the aptly-named Summer Feeling, which has just been added to RTÉ’s Recommends list this week, just a few notches above Norah Jones. Nice.

So, put on your finest Hawaiian shirt, pour yourself a cold one and maybe even roll yourself some pastry, as Nylophone takes you on a hazy holiday in the sun…
