s with so many dogs, Sally the shih tzu was taken by surprise when fireworks suddenly hit the sky whilst out for a walk with her owners, Leanne and Kevin.

It was New Year’s Eve, and despite being held on a lead, such was the fright that Sally managed to break loose and ran off in fear, lead still firmly attached.

And Sally’s owners have been searching desperately for their beloved dog ever since.

And today, three days after she went missing, Sally was found not far from where she bolted from those fireworks, spotted by a couple as she strolled out from bushes down at the marina park.

Pawents Kevin and Leanne want to thank everyone who spread the word and joined in the search.

They are, of course, overjoyed to have Sally back, who will now go on walks with three leads attached. Four, if it’s windy.
