ith the lockdown finally lifting, it’s time once again to let the world bear witness to your genius, panache and unique abilities…
Yep, if you’re planning to finally unleash your pent-up musical talents, you might just want to pop along to St Patrick’s Recreation Rooms.
For that’s where freewheelin’ local musician and teacher Tim George is giving his one-on-one, half-hour lessons in guitar, bass, double bass and ukulele.
Here’s the lowdown from the man himself…
What’s your instrument? Guitar? Ukulele? Bass? Double-bass? Well, I’d love to teach you!
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking for a new approach, I believe the secret to learning music is for lessons to be fun and tailored to your own musical influences and learning style.
Let’s start by having a chat about what you want to achieve, and I’ll help you get there. Whether it’s learning to play chords, a guitar solo/riff, a bass line, or your favourite song. And if you don’t know what you want, that’s OK too. I have experience teaching people from a variety of age groups and musical backgrounds; I’ll use that experience to guide the way.
Based at Swann Hall on Saturdays from 10am to 6pm (and available for home lessons Tuesday to Friday), you can contact Tim by on timgeorgemusiclessons@gmail.com or 0860599588. There’s also ye olde Facebook here.
