Big News from Kitchen 28 and Andrew Holmes Catering!

We’re excited to share that our team has officially taken over the food at Belmont Demesne, which means we’ll soon have a brand-new Kitchen 28 café, open 7 days a week, all year round.

Alongside the café, we’ve also moved our production kitchen to Belmont, where all of our large catering orders will now be prepared. But that’s not all — we’ve also acquired access to the full range of spaces at Belmont, including the large function room, gardens, and our new neighbours and partners, O Brother Brewing Taproom.

This opens up a whole new chapter for us:

⦿ Hosting large events such as Corporate events, Yoga Mornings, Wellness Walks with Lunches, Christenings,Communions, Product Launches

⦿ Beginning our 2027 wedding bookings, given that 2026 is already full.

⦿ Launching seasonal experiences including Christmas events, summer BBQs, hog roasts, and family fun days.

Many of our fun days will proudly support our partner charities — Children’s Health Ireland, The Down Syndrome Centre Sandyford, and Enable Ireland — who have all played a huge role in supporting our son Freddie.

We’ve also introduced new Kitchen 28 coffee cups with a QR code linking directly to the Down Syndrome Centre — making it easy for anyone to donate, whether it’s one cent or one million euro.

And for those who’ve asked about parking at Belmont: we’ve listened. When you make a purchase in our café, your receipt will now include a code for complimentary parking at the exit barrier.

We’ve also now launched a new loyalty Program, when you sign up, you get 25 points, building your loyalty on this you can redeem in our Shoreline or kilcoole cafes too.

There’s so much more happening around Belmont, too:

⦿ Abercorn Farm is a 2 acre vegetable market garden. They offer guided farm walks, learn to grow courses and seasonal vegetable boxes.

⦿ Fatbike Adventures. Over the past 7 years at Belmont Fatbike Adventures continue to provide quality bike sales, bike servicing and carbon bike repairs to the local biking community. They also offer bike rentals and guided tours throughout Belmont and Bray Head for corporate team building, kids parties and groups of friends-family. The ideal way to finish off your biking adventure day is with a bite to eat in Kitchen 28.

⦿ The Forest Club offers unique outdoor adventures for birthdays and family days out (our son Harry had the best time at his party there!).

⦿ O Brother Brewing. Belmont is also home to O Brother Brewing, whose award-winning beers are now poured fresh in their brand new taproom on site. Open Friday to Sunday, the taproom offers brewery tours, craft beer and antipasti boards, the perfect complement to the Kitchen 28 experience.

We’re only getting started — 2026 will bring even more exciting launches. Belmont is quickly becoming a hub of food, fun, and family, and we’d love for you to come experience it.
