So you if you have read the An Bord Pleanala Report, why have you not written anything about the concerns that were raised in relation to this development?
‘Us’ is all of us who question biased reporting.
I’m really not sure that barking at the postman is going to change the post. We are merely pointing out that planning permission was approved for 74 houses, and that another 55 are seemingly dependent on upgrades. It’s completely natural in all these cases for people to be for and against – we’re merely letting people know the latest turn of events.
If you have points or concerns, feel free to post them here…
Your posts on this issue have been very ‘developer lead’ and ‘developer biased’ with no independent research or objective opinions, You have given no information on the environmental or residential impact that a development like this will have.
Your reporting on this issue reminds us of the reporting on developments during the boom.
Reminds us? Are you royalty…? Nice.
The reporting here is largely what An Bord Pleanala have said, released after they – with their somewhat larger budget than the Guide’s – have done, we hope, their extensive research on the environmental and residential impact.
If you would like to finance our independent analysis of the environmental and residential impact that a development like this will have, we will happily spend our days doing such work. Let’s say, €10,000. Plus expenses. Plus VAT.
Boom!
