here’s one thing you can always say about the seisún up in The Horse & Hound of a Wednesday…

You’re sure to meet some fairly rockin’ oddballs.

The leader of the pack is Niall ‘I’ll gladly learn that song on Tuesday’ Woods, who just happens to be the nephew of everyone’s favourite fiery folkie, the one agus only Woodsy. 

See the young Shaw lad in the mix there too – so, the craic should be at least 89.

Suffice to say, if you’re a dab hand at diddley-aye or soul-searching folk, or you just like listening to diddley-aye or soul-searching folk, get yourself up to The Horse & Hound of a Wednesday. 

Just remember to wear your flat cap. And give your moustache a wash.

Given that these are musicians of the Oirish variety, when it says 9.30pm on de poster, you can expect the tunes to kick off shortly after 10.30pm.
