s anyone who has ever eaten at the table of Andrew Holmes Catering will already tell you, the boy sure knows what he’s doing when it comes to yummy grub.

And now the young Greystonian has only gone and cooked himself up a major gong at the Irish Wedding Awards 2017.

Yep, still surprised to find himself at the glitzy ceremony at the Crowne Plaza in the big smoke last night – “We were still trying to get over the fact that we got a nomination!” – Andrew and his partner-in-catering Tracey then found themselves bagging the award for Caterer Of The Year 2017.

Boom!

Given that Andrew Holmes Catering – currently making Greystones a healthier place with their Clean Eatz programme – is still a long way off celebrating its 10th birthday, that’s one hell of an achievement. 

We caught up with Andrew on the morning after the big shindig, up on the rooftop terrace of Theatre Lane, to talk food, fame and cooking al fresco…
