oung Jane McCarthy has been in touch about not one, not two but her three fundraisers for the Fields Of Life project, bringing water to remote African communities.

A move inspired by those clever TY students at Temple Carrig and their recent success in bringing a water well to an Ugandan village.

And they’re already on their way to securing a second.

Here’s Jane’s three fine fundraising events are…

After the June 100k cycle on a spin bike in the Go Gym Greystones car park, Jane is back on Saturday 9th September, 12pm-6pm, outside Sonny’s restaurant – with a second bike for people to jump on and cycle some of the distance too.

Jane’s hubby, Alan, has just finished his original painting of The Cove and there will be a raffle to win this beauty, limited to just 150 tickets at €10 each.  You can check out the framed painting at Rise At The Cove, and you can also grab your raffle ticket here.

Planning to head to Uganda in February 2024, not only is Jane fundraising for a well to be drilled but also hopes to contribute to the establishment of a trauma therapy project for the young students attending The Fields of Life vocational training institute in Gulu, Northern Uganda.
