Another Fancy Pants Bakery For Greystones

hey’re the darlings of Dublin 8, and now, Scéal Bakery are breaking some city hearts and tarts by moving to sunny Greystones.

Announcing their imminent arrival on social media today, this will be the first full-time HQ for the much-loved bakery.

And they’ll be neighbours to another much-loved Dublin establishing rolling in dough, Bread41, which is due to open in the old Davis Motors premises later this year.

Currently based at The Fumbally Stables in Dublin 8, Scéal Bakery specialise in handcrafted sourdough and vienoiserie.

Which basically means they make bread and cakes, but with a beret on top.

Charlotte and Shane are the couple behind Scéal and they are, of course, excited agus delighted to be setting up bakery in Greystones.

Calling the move ‘our best worst kept secret yet’, on Instagram this evening the couple wished everyone hello from their ‘gorgeous new bakery’.

They also accepted they have a lot of work ahead of them but, hey, these kids clearly know what they’re doing.
