Moving to Greystones in 2005, along with wife, Leena, and son, Ishan, Sunil quickly created a solid base in the town, not only for his family but for his ever-growing foodie dreams and schemes too. Having had the good fortune to meet up with Asheesh Dewan shortly after moving to Ireland, the two spent a very productive 15 years together, founding and opening the Jaipur group (which includes Chakra here in Greystones) and Ananda in Dundrum, amongst others.
As the awards began piling up – including Food & Wine magazine’s Best Chef In Ireland in 2009 and 2013 – Sunil’s early plan to move his family to Melbourne was permanently put on hold when he went solo and opened Pickle on Camden Street back in 2015, followed two
