Jade McCann Documentary Available Online

The idea was for a homecoming premiere later this month at The Whale, but, as the girl herself will tell you, life has a habit of making other plans.

And now, having premiered at the recent Dublin Film Festival on March 5th to a rapturous – and teary – reception, the acclaimed documentary on the late Jade McCann is now being made available online.

Entitled Endless Sunshine On A Cloudy Day, director John Connors (Love/Hate, Cardboard Gangster) followed Jade as she battled with PEComa, a rare form of cancer.

Accompanying the Greystones girl on hospital visits, at family gatherings, or just laughing it up, Connors was welcomed into Jade’s inner circle as the beauty blogger opened up about her determination to keep on fighting.

That dad Anthony was also battling cancer makes for some truly heartbreaking moments in O’Connor’s documentary – and the tearful social media reactions to the film today are hardly surprising.

Sadly, Jade McCann passed away last October, whilst Anto passed in January.
