Keith & The Gang Rock The Carraig

There was much singing and dancing, and laughing, at The Carraig Inn one special night in the lead-up to Christmas – and, for once, it was all for a very worthy cause.

Having proven to be a major success last year, Keith Monaghan and co reckoned it was worth getting the Jolly Boys back together for another fundraising night for Greystones Cancer Support.

And the boy wasn’t wrong.

Not only was the night itself craic agus roll, but the princely sum of €1,000 was raised for the local charity.

Nice.

With hosts Pat and Brid Doherty from The Carraig Inn making sure everyone were able to sing their songs – and wet their whistles – Keith and co expanded their line-up this year, renaming the gang The Jolly Boys & Girls.

Said Kathleen Kelleher of Greystones Cancer Support, “It is nice to see the younger generation carrying on the family’s community care tradition.

“They raised an absolutely fantastic amount and we are so grateful.”
