Kumon Greystones is delighted to announce the launch of a new educational partnership with SEK International School, Greystones.

Through this collaboration, all first-year students at SEK are participating in the Kumon Maths Programme from October 2025 to June 2026, with sessions taking place weekly on the school’s Belvedere Hall campus.

The initiative is led by Head of School Alberto Domínguez Álvarez and Academic Supervisor Laura Sánchez Herranz, who share a vision of fostering confidence, discipline, and independent
learning among students.

Administered directly through the school and fully funded by SEK, the programme is available exclusively to its first-year students. While not currently open to the wider community, the collaboration reflects both organisations’ shared commitment to academic excellence and personalised learning.

“Kumon Greystones is delighted to announce the launch of a new initiative,” says instructor Audrey Bracken. “Partnering with local day and boarding school SEK International, we are bringing Kumon directly to the students in their beautiful campus in Greystones. Like Kumon, SEK has a strong tradition in academic excellence, and the school’s history of curating innovative learning experiences for their students is well documented.

“Their enthusiasm in introducing Kumon on site for all first-year students is a testament to SEK’s progressive ethos and this initiative will both enhance and support their curriculum. We are excited to have the opportunity to develop the students’ calculation, problem-solving and independent learning skills, developing their potential to become confident, independent learners.”

This partnership ensures that students will benefit from the Kumon Method’s proven approach to step-by-step skill development, while seamlessly integrating with SEK’s broad and innovative curriculum.
