A life of pies…

t’s at happy, carefree gatherings such as the annual Happy Pear Apple Pie competition that GG realises, hey, there’s just so much love, goodwill and yummy food out there, how can one ever really be angry in this wonderful world?

Have a bunch of greedy-ass fecks attempt to eat up every last free morsel on offer?

Yep, that should do it.

Man, it would have been so sweet to punch each of those feckers square in the kisser, in slow motion. Once their mouths were full of yet another slice of free pie, of course. Just for that greedy geyser effect.

But, yep, we gotta be less Larry David here, and more Craig David, we know. This was a happy, sweet, sumptuous and scrumptious afternoon, with the hot apple pies arriving right up to that winners bell being clanged.

We caught the full read-out of those deserving winners on the video below, but, special shout-out goes to this year’s overall champ, Anna Owens. 

Man, we heard her apple pie creation was out of this world. Unfortunately, we blinked, and those hungry Horaces hoovered up the lot.

Remind us to cook an all-bran pie for next year’s competition.

Just so, you know, we can follow these freeloaders home. For dinner. And pudding.
