On Saturday, six of Pura Vida’s members – Dermod Dwyer, Grace Delahunt, Niamh O’Mahony, Helen O’Sullivan-Dwyer, Megan O’Brian and Denis Dwyer – had a little surprise for Clodagh.
Namely, a framed map recognising their favourite walk as Clodagh’s Loop.
Which is very close to Clodagh’s Loopy, of course, and the lady of the hour was certainly more than a little amazed by the walking group’s surprise honour.
“This is really a recognition of not only a very special loop but a very special lady,” says Dermod. “It’s a thank you to Clodagh for her tireless service to walkers, cyclists, locals and tourists.”
Nice.
You can find Clodagh, her organic yummies and the start of her namesake loop right about here and find out more here.
