Delgany works FRI20FEB26
he pothole situation around here got to a point lately where we
started to believe that Wicklow County Council might be trialing a new braille initiative for blind drivers.
Either way, local mechanics and tyre specialists will be gutted to learn that one of the most offending stretches, Bellevue Hill, is about to undergo some long-overdue road resurfacing works.
Here’s Tuesday’s press release from Wicklow County Council…
Traffic Management: Stop/Go system in place to accommodate road resurfacing works.
Diversions via Glen of the Downs-Ballydonagh Road and Killincarrig-Templecarrig Road will be in place for the duration of the works.

Great news – was driving up to Kindlestown Woods yesterday evening and Bellevue Hill is rough. Like driving off road! Hopefully they keep this up and fix many of the other local roads that are frankly in bits. Church Lane – I’m looking at you…..
