t’s that time of year when Greystones shops get ever-so-slightly busy…

And it can make all the difference between a fine year and a not-so-fine one.

Over at the Lorient gift shop, Isobel is getting ready for the festive season by bringing in an extra pair of hands through November and December.

“A cheery, helpful personality is a must,” says Isobel. “Our service to new and loyal customers is very important to us. We work hard but we enjoy what we do, and we’re looking for a like-minded person to join us…”

Retail experience is a bonus but not a must as full training will be provided – training which would start on day one, given the huge product range Lorient stock.

“Also, comfy shoes and warm clothing needed,” adds Isobel, “as we like to leave our welcoming door open, and it gets a wee bit chilly here in winter!”

The part-time position would start with 2 days a week in November, moving to 3 or 4 days a week in December.
