Waverly House SEPT22
atest press release from Deputy Jennifer Whitmore, issued on
Monday, June 26th 2023…
Speaking on the matter, Deputy Whitmore says, “The installation of the Community Mental Health Team at premises on Hillside Road is a great addition to the community. The team who are normally based in Newcastle are now closer to the community which makes it easier for service users to access the services they need.”
“The team which is consultant led, is multi-disciplinary local team made up of a highly trained professionals such as a consultant, social worker, community health nurse and non-consultant hospital doctors who are backed up by a team of administrators and assistants. Together they provide
the services, programmes and therapies to help patients cope with illness and get better.
“To date, Greystones is the only district in Wicklow without a primary care centre and is an amenity that is long overdue.

Hello
I am looking for a support group or 1:1 service for a lady in her late 40’s. She has experienced sever trauma in her life. A voluntary organisation would be ideal as she has had previous negative experience with the HSE.
She is currently living in Greystones, has no transport and is on disability allowance.
Good man, James,
Leaving a comment on an article isn’t really the best way to find what you’re looking for. We have some emergency and support groups here: http://greystonesguide.ie/emergency-contacts/. Otherwise, best get in touch with any support groups in the area, through a Google search.
