New Estate For Ashford Main Street

he little village of Ashford is getting that little bit bigger day by day, and the latest developer to knock on their door is Dwyer Nolan Developments Ltd.

Filed today, the pre-validation application to Wicklow Planning is for 16 houses tucked in behind Ashford House on the main street.

And just up alongside the River Walk, to be precise.

Here’s application no.2660240 in full…

Construction of 16 no. 2 storey, detached, semi-detached and terraced, 2 bedroom houses, and all associated site development works, including car parking, bin storage, boundary treatments, open spaces and landscaping etc.

Access to the development will be via a new vehicular entrance off the R764 (Roundwood Road).

The proposed development also includes partial demolition to the rear of Ashford House (i.e. ground floor demolition of c.120sq.m).

A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared with respect to proposed development and accompanies the planning application.

Submissions are due by May 4th whilst the planning decision will be announced on May 25th, more details over on the Wicklow Planning site here.
