ust announced, the vacant Carmelite Convent in Delgany is set to be used as
temporary accommodation for Ukrainian refugees from today.
The property is currently at the centre of a series of planning applications and appeals for a large housing estate in Delgany village.

New Ukrainian Centre at Carmelite Convent Delgany A63 A008The above property in Delgany has been contracted by DCEDIY ((Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration & Youth) to provide accommodation for 53 No. Ukrainian BOTP’s (Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection).
DCEDIY are responsible for filling this property and it is expected to be filled from 20th September 2023 onwards.
